My life has been changed by great friends sharing a passion for real traditional foods and natural living. We got started with cultured foods after having my first child in 2011.

I had personally suffered for many years with asthma, allergies, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, and depression. I was unable to work due to these illnesses and was unsure how I would care for a child when I could barely care for myself. After our daughter was born, my good friend Nadine gifted me my first Kombucha SCOBY. After only three months of brewing and enjoying this delicious, effervescent, probiotic beverage I found that I had energy again. I could enjoy food without stomach pains, and was no longer plagued with depression and random body pain. I had suffered until adding these life giving foods to my diet and embracing traditional living.

I had lived so long with these illnesses that I had no idea how GOOD I could feel! Today, we eat a wide variety of cultured foods including, kimchi, sauerkraut, pickles, yogurts, kefirs, sourdough, and of course kombucha to help keep our intestinal flora diverse. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to team up with Nadine to show others how to benefit from these amazing cultures and easily make these foods at home. I am happy to be able to share this journey with you!
